Charm City Buffet & Grill

Their system for moving through the huge line was fantastic, and the service of the employees was about what’s expected from a buffet experience. The issue was that much of the food was piled too high, allowing it to not only get colder than you’d like to eat, but also undoubtedly allowing it to get cooler for longer than is safe. The quality of the food was also a bit lackluster, as even though it looked pretty it was under seasoned.

I have been here two times now and overall I think it's a decent place it's not top quality food but still decent if you were into variety such as what a buffet is then there's plenty of choices here you need to come a couple of times to be able to sample each item they have cuz there's so many. Bang for the buck it's definitely worth it if you looking for a quiet relaxing place this is not it it is a very busy place.

This place is a little hidden gem! The food is always really good I particularly love that they have people making fresh sushi in the back that is as good as a lot of the local sushi places. Being in all you can eat place, It's really cool to be able to just go and eat good sushi and sashimi until you're full for about $20 bucks!! They have a grill in the back too If you prefer your food cooked. You can choose your own stuff and have them grill it up right for you there. It is a buffet so there's also plenty of food put out and ready to go, I am particularly fond of some of the Chinese food of course, but there's also stuff like fried fish, seafood and fruit etc. The staff here is always been very friendly and I genuinely enjoy the place!

Wide variety of food. I went for the sushi and was not disappointed! The salmon and tuna sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicious. The coconut shrimp is amazing and I’m not usually a fan of coconut. I also enjoyed the cocktail shrimp, chilled mussels and stuffed scallop shells (imitation crab and shrimp, no scallops). I was disappointed with the salt and pepper shrimp and the salt and pepper crab as they were both mushy, as if overcooked. The crawfish, which I don’t usually eat, was much better tasting. The fried chicken wings and buffalo wings were okay, as were the vegetable roll and spring roll. The sautéed clams, wontons, and pork gyoza were good. There were so many more foods I didn’t try because of dietary restrictions (and because I was stuffed!), but it all looked really good. The buffet was constantly being replenished with fresh food. The staff is friendly and efficient. The place is spacious and clean. The price is more than reasonable considering all of the food options. Dinner buffet and drink was only $20.97. I will definitely go back again. UPDATE: Visited again on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm. It was very busy and a lot of people were waiting to be seated when I walked. Surprisingly the wait was less than 5 minutes. I gave the salt and pepper shrimp and the salt and pepper crab another try. It was much better this go round. They had Louisiana Boil and oysters on the half shell, which were not out on my first visit. I didn’t try the boil, but it looked really good. The oysters were fresh, not briney like I prefer, but still good. This time around I also tried the beef, the pork ribs, chilled baby octopus and egg drop soup. They were all good. This is now my place to go to give myself a treat.

First time trying the new buffet, was a great deal, the new dining room and buffet is very nice and clean. Food is good quality and fresh. Seniors get a discount and you can't beat lunch, especially now days for just under $11. Also don't forget to tip your server. Update 6/2023 Still a great deal, especially now the food is tasty and fresh. The only issue was the dining room was way to cold. The aircon was to high (cold).
